Welcome to the San Diego Bridge Academy, a friendly bridge club located in picturesque Balboa Park. We offer four duplicate games every week along with expert instruction. Enjoy electronic scoring using Bridgemates. For each board, not only are results for each pair recorded but also the deal, contracts and opening leads. Our game results also include makeable contracts derived from Deep Finesse analysis.

ACBL Sanctioned Games are played at the Redwood Club in Balboa Park just East of 6th Avenue.

• Monday (Novices only) 7 PM with 6:30 PM lesson.
• Tuesdays 7 PM with a 6:30 PM lesson
• Thursdays 12:15 PM
• New Saturday Aft.Redwood Game. 12:15 PM.
• Saturday Eve. 6:30 PM. Bridge is going to have a new look in February. Dave and Elayne will be combining their culinary talents to offer dinner before bridge. It will be potluck with Dave and Elayne presenting the entrée and salad. Everyone else is invited to bring an appetizer, dessert, beverage, or gratuity for the chef. The total cost will be $8.00. To ensure that the club is open, check the Schedule. We close during some holidays along with some local ACBL Regional and Sectional events. Special features of our Club:

• Introduction to Bridge. (Know anyone who is interested in learning how to play bridge? Please contact David Walters )
• Introduction to Declarer Play. An advanced class that focuses on the various lines of defense and the tools you need to apply them.
• Beyond the Basics. An intermediate class for the advancing player.
• Thinking Bridge. A course designed to help students develop proper thinking habits.

The Redwood Club offers a sanctioned game non-ACBL affiliated games for bridge players in a more relaxed atmosphere.

• ACBL sanctioned. Saturday at 12:15 PM. $3/session non-members.
• Non-anctioned. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday at 12:15 PM.
