San Diego Bridge Academy

Welcome to the San Diego Bridge Academy, a friendly bridge club located in picturesque Balboa Park. We offer four duplicate games every week along with expert instruction. Enjoy electronic scoring using Bridgemates. Not only are results recorded but also contracts and opening leads. Take a look at our latest game results under Schedule & Results to possible contract for each hand along with result for each pair.

ACBL Games

• Monday (Novices only) 7 PM with 6:30 PM lesson.
• Tuesdays 7 PM with a 6:30 PM lesson
• Thursdays 12:15 PM
• Saturdays 6:30 PM

To ensure that the club is open, check the schedule. We close during some local ACBL Regional and Sectional events. Some special features of our club:

• Need a Partner. E-mail or call Dave (see Contact Us).
• Best bridge coffee, tea and great snacks. Provided.
• Bridgemates. Use electronic scoring to enter your scores for faster more accurate results.

Classes

Ever wondered about The Edge? Maybe you just missed first place or do not consistently place? Consider one of our bridge classes. At present, we are offering four classes:

• Introduction to Bridge. (Know anyone who is interested in learning how to play bridge? Please contact David Walters )
• Bridge Basics. "Introduction to Play of the Hand"
• Beyond the Basics. "Intermediate Play of the Hand"
• Introduction to Duplicate Bridge. Lesson & Bridge, Monday evenings at 6:30 PM

Redwood Club

For bridge in a more relaxed atmosphere, The Redwood Club offers non-ACBL affiliated games for bridge players.

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 12:15 PM.
